Diagnosis
Scape dark and metallic; flagellum with a 3-segmented clava; frontal suture weakly U-shaped, almost reaches eyes; frons and vertex predominantly with rather strong reticulation; scrobal grooves indistinct, except joint groove up to frontal suture; medioposterior dorsellum drawn out in a tip (slightly smaller than in foveatus); first gastral tergite without hairtufts anterolaterally, posterior margin smoothly curved backwards.
